About the Nijiseiki Asian Pear:

One of the most popular Asian Pears in Japan, Nijiseiki is a large, crisp, juicy and flavorful yellow variety. The fruit is yellowish green with clear skin. The flavor is mild with tartness towards the core, very crisp and crunchy.

As well as being delicious to eat as a fruit Nashi Pears are popular sliced thinly and added to salads. Use them also as a palate cleanser in between food courses.

Plant multiple Asian Pear trees for best pollination.
